ego trip

Oooooooooooh... I'm on such a high from all the nice compliments people are getting on my photos! My ego is going to outgrow the rest of me soon. :D Here's another one from Saturday to hold me over until I can get some posted from earlier in the summer. Today it's my favorite from the shoot, but I seem to change my mind everyday.

In June 2007, after 8 years together, one of my husband's best friends proposed to one of my best friends. We shot their engagement photos on June 25, 2007.

A year to the day after the proposal, on June 21, 2008, they allowed me the honor of shooting their wedding!

Having their ceremony outdoors at Wentworth Park in Sydney was my idea. :)

the deadline for deadlines

Finished both sets of engagement pictures on the weekend and was 100% thrilled to be done "everyone else's" photos and look forward to taking my own during vacation next week. Then, this morning, it poured rain... I mean POURED RAIN... and I emailed a friend of mine who has agreed to a trash-the-dress session and somehow convinced her to do it in the pouring rain!!! We're actually looking at tomorrow or Wednesday since it's supposed to rain all week and I am all excited once again!!!

In the meantime, here's one of the engagement pics that I was supposed to be working on the other night. The Sunday session asked that I wait until after the wedding in August to post her pics as we have a lot of friends in common and she wants them to be a surprise in a slide show, so here's the Saturday lovebirds. :)
