I can't say enough about Krystle and Ian. They were up for anything except the old fashioned line-up and click family shots, and who am I to argue with that! And him? Well... these appeared magically in the hotel room where the girls were getting ready...
Krystle's dress really laced up the back so I was finally able to capture one of these shots, which I've always wanted!
She was so tiny in that big poofy dress. I love the expression on her face in this one. Obvious excitement makes me happy!
Krystle and her dad have a really close relationship. She wanted to wait until he was in the next room before she'd put on her dress. He was a big ol' ham for the camera too.
Full catholic mass weddings tend to frighten me. I'm not a church-goer (insert guilty gulp here) and I worry about the when's and when-not-to's of photographing the wedding. Between prayers, however, I was able to pull off a few beauties like this one.
Then it was off to Sanford Flemming Park, also known as "the Dingle" for a bit of idle chit chat. :)
I have often wondered why people insist on having children in their wedding party. Then Mackenzie did THIS and it all made sense!
Ian had the gusto to let his zealous older brother make a speech. He had some fantastic stories, which had us in stitches, and poor Ian beet red!
A little more father-daughter love to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. That song should come with a full tear-jerker alert.
And the mister and missus... beginning their happily ever after!
