Hola!

This year's February sun mission brought us to Bahia Principe San Juan in Puerto Plata in the beautiful Dominican Republic. The weather was actually too hot to leave the resort and fortunately, we had everything we wanted right on site. When all else failed, the place was a photographer's dream.

 

We had read many complaints about the beach at this particular resort, but I had no problem with the warm ocean and sandy surf.

Even the drinks were photo-worthy!

And at night, the main gate was closed and the road blocked off for a street party, complete with bowtie-clad waiters and live entertainment!

Finally, when the full day's sun and the drinks got the best of you, the main area of the resort was quiet and peaceful enough for a good night's sleep... so you could get up and do it all again the next day!
