There was a lot going on on the Halifax waterfront that day. There usually is during the summer. Massive cruise ships come and go, street entertainers peddle their musical, artistic, and unusual talents, locals motor along in their business suits and sneakers, trying to put in some exercise on their lunch hours.
But looking out over the water toward Dartmouth, you'd never know it. All that bears witness is the calm and peacefulness of a massive bank of fog, and a single perfect sailboat making its way through.
