At the end of March, my 12-hour days became 12-hour nights. We took on a 16/5 schedule, meaning we were in camp for 16 days, and off for 5. With two of those 5 consumed by travel, I was left with 3 days for myself every two and a half weeks. I started working in the kitchen in camp from 9p.m. to 9a.m. Tack on an hour at the gym and a few minutes to check in with the outside world before getting some sleep each day, and it didn't leave any time for shooting. It was exhausting, but I had a goal in mind. So, from March to June, 2015, this was pretty much the extent of it:
Camp sunset.
On the road. Somewhere between Edmonton and Calgary.
Calgary waterfront.
Back in Camp.
Edmonton.
Devon, Alberta
Somewhere between Edmonton and Calgary.
And finally, on July 1... this. Just north of Calgary, through a bus window, on my phone... I got this as a gentle reminder of what it's all about.

Love this! Also loved the picture of my grandson Asher peeking from behind the truck.
